My students used to tell me that I'm weird because I read ingredients lists while I brush my teeth or when shampooing my hair, but don't you want to know what you put on your precious skin? This is my current favourite cleanser! The fresh citrusy smell from the organic sweet orange peel oil perks me up in the mornings and gives a calming effect after a long day. Free from all petrochemical, synthetic surfactants, foaming agents, formaldehyde or phthalates, fragrances or alcohol, this face wash is great for all skin types and gently exfoliates the pores with 100% natural ingredients.
There are some brands of cleansers which leave my face tight and itchy after washing, especially around the cheeks, but I'm relieved that the New Beginning Pore Refining Face Wash leaves my skin clean and soft. What I also notice is that after I started using this face wash, those hard whiteheads that usually form around my forehead and chin are cleared. The bottle comes with a self-foaming pump to create the rich lathering foam for easy cleaning. How to Use
Splash face with some warm water and pump one pump of cleanser into palm of your hands. Create a soothing lather and work into skin in upward, circular motions, never rushing this important step. Follow with your preferred tonic, serum and moisturizer. Use morning and night.

Oils and my face don't go well together, so I was a little hesitant before trying this product. Now, it is an important part of my daily face routine. Loaded with essential fatty acids and antioxidants that my tired skin needs, this oil is quickly absorbed to give a natural glow on my face and improves my complexion. Even without applying any moisturizer, my face stays hydrated and comfortable. What more, with ingredients like evening primrose, hazelnut and sea buckthorn fruit, what's not to love about the scent!

How to Use
Apply a few drops on cleansed face, eye and neck area every morning and night. For oilier, acne-prone and combination skin use it instead of your regular moisturizer. Moroccan Lava Clay (or Rhassoul Clay) is an excellent mineral-rich clay mined in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and has been used for centuries by royals and nobility in ancient Egypt and Rome. It contains skin-loving minerals like silica, calcium, iron, magnesium, and when used regularly, it improves skin tone, texture, elasticity and clarity. The clay is incredible on the skin as it is highly negative in charges and works by drawing out the positively-charged impurities and blackheads from the pores. Now that's some science for you!
Added with rice bran powder which is gently exfoliating and is said to be an old Japanese secret for smooth, soft skin, this combo mixture heals blemishes, balances the natural oils in the skin, and unclog pores. The Moroccan Clay Renewing Face Scrub can be used on its own or added with other ingredients for a homemade face spa.

Added with red raspberry seed oil (this plant has the highest SPF of all plants) and organic aloe, the sunscreen hydrates and protects your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. It is fragrance-free and lightly tinted so it does not leave the skin with a white film. This product is safe for babies and adults and great for all skin types, though it gave me a few whitehead problems after applying.

Added with rice bran powder which is gently exfoliating and is said to be an old Japanese secret for smooth, soft skin, this combo mixture heals blemishes, balances the natural oils in the skin, and unclog pores. The Moroccan Clay Renewing Face Scrub can be used on its own or added with other ingredients for a homemade face spa.
How to Use
As Daily Scrub: Wet your face first. In the palm of your hand mix 1/2 teaspoon of face scrub with some water to create a creamy paste, then massage into your skin for 1-2 minutes. Rinse well. Use daily for more congested skin and twice weekly for normal to dry skin. For hyperpigmentation skin add few drops of fresh lemon to the mixture. Proceed to tone/hydrate your skin. No need to wash your face first unless your skin has make-up.
As Weekly Mask: Mix a teaspoon of face scrub together with enough water (or cooled tea) to create a creamy consistency and apply all over your face (or spot treat). Allow the clay mask to dry completely, then remove mask with generous splashes of cool water. Restore hydration and moisturize and follow up with Organic Youth Glow Omega Face Serum.
