ZY's on night shift tonight, and I left Ch with my mil so that I can concentrate on marking my Prelim exam scripts. Listening to class 95, I hear this song- Love Me. It's one of my favourite songs, and it never fails to get me emotional (very often, ending up with tears in my eyes) when I listen to it. Such beautiful and meaningful lyrics...

I read a note by my grandma wrote back in 1923
Grandpa kept it in his coat and he showed it once to me

I read those words just hours before my grandma passed away.
In the doorway of the church where me and grandpa stopped to pray.
I know I've never seen him cry in all my 15 years.
But as he said these words to her
His eyes filled up with tears.

Recently, Ch realised that there are food more delicious than porridge and noodles... BBQ chicken wings!! She had her 1st taste about 3 weeks ago. Gave a "hmm.. DELICIOUS!" comment, and thereafter, she had one every weekend! haha! Look at her oily hands from handling the chicken wing!
This short conversation took place a while ago when ZY carried Ch.
ZY: Charlene, have you grown taller?
Ch: No, I am still short enough.
ZY: Are you sure? Have you grown taller?
Ch: I am still short enough. My hair has grown longer.
ZY: Yes, but are you taller now?
Ch: Er.. no... yes.. no...
Ch: I am taller now... because you carry me!
LOL!!!!
