Multiply Your Joy: The Alive Museum Singapore!
Saturday, December 20, 2014# This post is part 2 of the Multiply Your Joy campaign by NTUC Membership. Multiply your joy with Savings over $1,000 as an NTUC member!
After writing part 1 of the Multiply Your Joy campaign where I identified 5 cost-saving places to have some fun during this school holidays, I managed to squeeze in time for iFly Singapore and Alive Museum Singapore.
For those who have not yet known, the Alive Museum is a modern art museum with more than 80 pieces of art installations and paintings that come alive through visual illusions. You literally become part of the masterpiece. Just look at my photos below.
With 2 adults and 2 children, I bought the tickets based on the following configuration:
Using the NTUC card discount, I bought 2 full-priced adults tickets (at $25 each). It comes with one free child ticket (worth $20) - this promo ends 31 Dec 2014, so grab this chance to save on the entrance fees!
Using the Alive Museum online ticketing system, I saved 20% on one child ticket. We reached Alive Museum at 10:30 am on a Friday morning, and there was already a small crowd inside. But that did not stop us from having fun with our poses. What's a blog post of the Alive Museum without pictures ya? So here are our top 10 photos, voted by the whole crew of Simply Lambchops.
All hail the King! |

I realise Ch is definitely more game to pose for such photos as compared to L. Her expressions are also more exaggerated but suitable. L was a bit shy initially, but did relax and joined in the fun with some wacky poses after he saw how the pictures turned out.
It was a pity that some of the exhibits were changed to accommodate the new Penguins of Madagascar exhibits. We were looking forward to doing some levitation poses. But well, at least we had a first close look at the Penguins before seeing them on the movie screen this Sunday (Yay! Another family outing!)!
So, if you want to take pictures with the Penguins, make sure you catch them early else they will be gone soon.

With this post, I complete the two-part series of the Multiply Your Joy campaign by NTUC Membership. You can also check out the NTUC Membership Facebook page for more updates about the promotions they have!
